Measure three things

Width
Measure the narrowest width, between your hinges. This decides which units, and how many, fit side by side.

Depth
Back of the cabinet to the inside of the closed door. An x11 needs 10.6". Check for a block of wood or wiring at the back.

Height
Cabinet base or shelf to the shelf above. The drawer top sits 7.25" from the base on x2 and x1.5 tier units, 1.5" on single tier. Add your container height to that.
The rule: you are measuring for the largest box that will slide in and out of your space without hitting any frame, hinge or other obstruction. Units mount to the cabinet base or a permanently fixed shelf.

How do I know it will fit?
Measure three things before you order: the width between your hinges, the depth from the back of the cabinet to the inside of the closed door, and the height from the base or shelf to the shelf above. Every product page states the exact space that unit needs. The size finder will narrow it down, or email your three numbers to customerservice@verticalspice.com and a person will tell you which one to order.
How hard is the install, really?
Ready-made units arrive assembled. You clip on the Flex-Side bands and drive the included self-tapping screws into the cabinet base or a fixed shelf. One Phillips screwdriver, no drill. Customers routinely report five minutes a unit. The trickiest case is a fixed shelf above a countertop, where reaching the screw holes takes some patience.
Will it hold jars that aren't all the same size?
That's what the Flex-Sides are for, woven elastic bands over a steel crimp core that press against whatever you put in. Mixed jar sizes are the normal case. Two things worth knowing: some brands run taller than a standard jar, Penzeys among them, so check your tallest jar against the unit height before ordering, and oddly shaped containers sit less snugly than round ones.
What if I measure wrong?
You have 30 days to return it unused and in the original packaging. If you're between sizes, send your measurements to customerservice@verticalspice.com before you order rather than after.
