Example Cabinet Design

Below is one Do-It-Yourself spice rack design method, or try the "Self-Help Product Selector" to make it easy...

Reference "Products" for a table of all Widths/Heights/Depths

Your measurements:     Width = 20" between the hinges and cabinet frame.

Height = 13" between the two shelves

Depth = 11.0" from the back of the cabinet to inside the closed door

Depth = x11 Products, the 10.6" deep family of products will fit the 11.0" space

Height = All units will fit in the 13" space

Width =  This is where the fun begins...

Product Chart Selection Example
  1.      Begin with a 222 x 2 x 11 Base Width is 6.9"  --  Store many Spices in a compact space
  2.      Starting Width space = 20"
  3.      Calculate Remaining Width = 13.1"  (20" - 6.9" = 13.1")
  4.      All bases are less than 13.1"
  5.      Add a 33 x 1 x 11 Base Width is 6.9"  --  Store larger containers and access all front to back
  6.      Calculate Remaining Width = 6.2"  (13.1" - 6.9" = 6.2")
  7.      Look for units with base width less than 6.2"
  8.      Add a 5 x 1 x 11 Base Width = 5.75"  --  Store a variety of sizes and shapes
  9.      Remaining Width = .45"  (6.2" - 5.75" = .45")
  10.      You have designed your cabinet organizers and fully used your space.
  11.      Final list of units: 222x2x11, 33x1x11 and 5x1x11
